Learning is a process and a combination of factors. Acquiring knowledge enables us to develop new skills, values, and behaviors. There are many ways to learn something, or simply by observing what you want to know.
Each person has their unique approach to learning, whether it’s enough note-taking, visualizations, listening, or using a mix of techniques. These are tools that help us pursue the knowledge we seek.
I enjoy learning for the sake of learning, and I seek ways to better absorb the desired content, whether through videos, podcasts, books, or articles. I don’t particularly appreciate using tools like Notion or Obsidian, not because they’re bad, but because I prefer something that’s easy to consult, like notebooks, which I find more practical for my learning cycle.
Notes are a powerful tool for reinforcing; a simple notebook or paper on our desk helps with this technique, while practice strengthens understanding. When we practice something we’re learning, we make many mistakes. Mistakes are essential for learning because they provide immediate feedback on what can be improved, consolidating knowledge and helping to refine our process.
We should never stop seeking knowledge, as learning is a constant cycle that requires adaptation. Learning how to learn is essential for facing new stages in life, whether personal or professional.
